Our Process:
Contact us for service and get an estimate, we'll discuss what you need and if there's anything specific you want us to especially focus on.
We'll set up service on a date that works for you. Our clients typically pay us by check or cash, given at the scene of service, or through Venmo. If you would like to leave a tip specific to your cleaning team (not required), it's easiest for us if any tip is in cash, and always appreciated!
We'll Assign a Team on your service day, usually two or more cleaners, they'll arrive in a company-branded vehicle and get to work. If you are present at the time of service (not required) they'll make sure they get any special details directly from you. We are very comfortable working around a lot of items and belongings, kids, pets, and people in the spaces we clean.
Once the job is done, we'd love to hear from you about how it went, and we are very appreciative of feedback. If there are any issues, or things you have concern about, please contact us and let us know, we guarantee satisfaction!
Our Housecleaning clients usually start with a first-time deeper clean which takes a little longer than a regular recurring service, and if they decide to set up a recurring service it is usually every week, every two weeks, or once a month. The time estimate on a recurring service depends on the size of your house, but most places are usually under 1 hour 30 minutes after the initial deep clean.
Some clients on their first-time cleaning service also elect our additional Ultra-Sonic Blinds Cleaning service (listed further below)
Housecleaning includes:
Every service we dust your whole space top-to-bottom from ceiling fans to baseboards, shine all your mirrors and high-touch glass, vacuum all your rugs and carpets, and backpack-vac and mop all your un-carpeted floors. We'll get under any furniture we can with our vacumes, although many people use those places for storage. We'll also go room-by-room and collect any trash from bins through-out.
In Your Kitchen, we'll do the fronts of all your kitchen cabinets, tops and fronts of your appliances (including inside your microwave), walls, backsplash, under the things on your counter-tops. We'll also shine your sink. If you would like to pay a bit extra to have us clean the inside of your oven and your refrigerator, we will do that too!
In Your Bathrooms, we'll wipe down the walls and the ceiling if they need it, use the same process for your cabinets and counters as we did in the kitchen, scrub the tile, grout and fixtures in your showers and your in bathtub, shine-up your sinks, re-fold and hang your towels, clean inside and out and around your toilets and urinals. If applicable, we'll even vacume your bathroom mats, and place them back where we found them after we mop.
In Your Bedrooms, we'll wipe down high-touch surfaces, neatly fold and fluff throw blankets and pillows, straighten or even re-make your bed. If you would like new sheets put on the beds, just leave them in a pile on the bed for us.
In Your Common Spaces, we'll wipe high-touch surfaces, re-set throw pillows and blankets, straighten things up a little on your side tables. We don't generally wipe the front of TV screens or monitors because of the high risk of damage, but we will dust all your electronics with a soft duster, and also lamps and decor when we do your-whole-house dusting.
C&A Cleaning services a number of commercial spaces, from apartment lobby areas, cubicle-style offices, storefronts with admin-spaces, work rooms and designated work trailers. We aren't equipped currently to do the hospital or clinical type of cleaning and sterilization, but we can do almost all general spaces.
A most of the commercial spaces we service are done by our office teams on Saturday or Sunday when they are closed and empty of workers, but we also work around a number of staffed places during the regular work week. Almost all of the commercial spaces we clean, have found it best to get service once or twice a week.
Commercial Cleaning includes:
Every service much like with our housecleaning service, we collect trash from your bins through-out the space, dust your space top-to-bottom from ceiling fans to baseboards, shine all your mirrors and high-touch glass, vacuum all your rugs and carpets, and backpack-vac and mop all your un-carpeted floors.
In Your Desk Areas, we'll wipe down desktops and tables, dust under and around collectibles, electronics, and plants, hunt for coffee stains, and vacuum under desks.
In Your Storefront Space, we'll make sure your front door glass looks great, and clean up any seating, counters, or coffee areas for guests. You can request that we dust your product shelves, but we don't usually touch anything on those to avoid the risk of damage.
In Your Kitchen and Break-rooms, we'll wipe down tables, counters, handles, and chairs. We'll empty and clean your coffee machines, and shine your sinks.
In Your Bathrooms, we'll wipe down the walls if they need it, wipe your bathroom fixtures, refill your supplies if you would like us to, and clean inside and out and around your toilets and urinals. Some of our office clients have us bill them and provide basic supplies for their bathrooms, while others just have us let them know when they need to re-order for their on-site supply closets.
C&A Cleaning has a partnership with several local property management outfits, we provide deep-cleaning for all types of spaces all year round, but our busy season for Move-Out Cleans is usually in the summer months when local students from Butte College and Chico State are coming and going.
We don't just do apartments, although that tends to be the bulk of the work in this area. We also work with individuals and can help you get your house ready for sale. We clean duplex and townhouse style homes, multi-floor places, manufactured homes, mobile and trailer type homes, tiny-house setups, in-law suites, and mansions. We also do new-construction cleans. If you need help getting a space ready for a new tenant, deep cleaning is one of our specialties!
What We Clean in a Move-Out Cleaning:
If it can be cleaned, and if we can reach it, we'll try our best to clean it.
The specific list is a long one, but it includes things like:
Every room in the space.
Hot water heaters and their closet.
Vents, Filters, Light Fixtures, and Ceiling Fans.
Doors and door-frames, screen doors, sliding glass doors & screens, windows & screens, window-tracks.
Inside, outside, under, and behind Refrigerators, and Stoves/Ovens, provided that moving them wouldn't disrupt a water line or gas line.
Inside dishwashers, including their filters.
Inside and outside microwaves.
Range-hoods and their filters.
Inside and outside all of the cabinets in all of the rooms.
Bedroom closets and their giant mirror doors.
Balconies, Porches, Patios, Garages.
We don't have the ability to professionally clean carpet or steam tile and hard floor areas. We operate with a standard upright vacuum for carpet that is great for removing pet hair and a professional backpack-vac with a standard janitorial mop, but do we refer those type of special flooring requests to Elite Carpet Cleaning, who does a quick, efficient, and excellent job at those things

We'll go through the space top-to-bottom, room-by-room and make sure it's a clean environment to breath it, live in, and play in. Whatever the scope the project, from new apartment buildings unit-by-unit, to tiny-house projects, if it can be cleaned, we will clean it!
We have plenty of experience doing the final clean after a project has been finished so that the next residents move into a place free of sawdust and construction debris.
Sawdust Gets Everywhere:
We especially give care to inside, outside, on top of, and undersides of kitchen cabinets and drawers, and inside and outside of kitchen appliance.
Often-times newly installed sinks, toilets, bathtubs and showers have manufacturer stickers, plaster, and sealant that needs to be removed.
When a builder is working on house, it's also very likely that the yard may have been unfinished during the build, so there tends to be clay and dirt and dust that has been tracked on the new floors. We can take care of that too, as well as making sure all of the wood trim for the doorways, windows, and baseboards are wiped free of any scuffs and dirt.
Windows that Shine:
Most of these projects also have brand new windows that need to have stickers removed and glass and window tracks cleaned, and sliding-glass doors with screens that have collected sawdust and dirt. We take great care to make sure your windows look great.

Do your blinds need a scrub?
We have an ultra-sonic blind washing machine, and can take your slat blinds (plastic, wood, or metal) and get them washed and dried. We'll have one of our teams come and take them down, and put them back up when they are done, but you can also bring them to our shop and pick them up yourself if you would rather.
Some blinds get very brittle over time in the California sun, so we won't process anything that already has broken slats or pull-cords that won't lift. If we feel we might cause damage to older blinds then we'll let you know. But in some cases we may also be able to help repair a broken blind.
Day-to-day life can get out of hand, especially when you've got kids, or when you are faced with difficult personal or medical issues. If you need a hand picking up your home, folding your laundry, doing your dishes, please give us a call. We can do these things in addition to a regular cleaning service, or we can do them separately. We tailor to your needs.
